Education is the main priority of IW because it is a fundamental human right and the foundation for building peace and driving sustainable development. The Global Education Agenda 2030 is part of a global movement to eradicate poverty through 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Education, being essential to achieving all these goals, has its own Goal 4, which aims to "ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all." IW employs an innovative platform aimed at enabling students to develop knowledge and awareness and take action to transform society and make it more sustainable. Recognizing young people as key actors in addressing sustainability challenges and associated decision-making processes.
